Newsflash (February 2017) Prof. Williams Launches

"America First Lawyers Association"

to support the Donald Trump administration's America first nominations, policies, and all other efforts.

This Website (below on this homepage and in pages to the right) documents (in reverse chronological order) the independent, disruptive efforts of one American to support Donald Trump's campaign.  These efforts were not unlike the disruptive efforts of citizens all across America who believed that Donald Trump could "Make America Great Again."

After Washington D.C. attorney and law professor Victor Williams maxed out his individual FEC contribution limits (primary and general) to Mr. Trump in late February 2016, he did did grass roots work in neighboring Arlington supporting Donald Trump in the Virginia primary.

Prof. Williams then sought to support Trump by a genuinely disruptive effort.  Williams launched a legal challenge against Canadian-born Ted Cruz's constitutional eligibility in nine late primary states.

In order to establish the legal "standing" needed to challenge Ted Cruz for not being a "natural Born citizen, Prof. Williams formally became a "write-in" candidate for the GOP presidential nomination in those nine states.   Thus Williams sought to support Donald Trump by becoming his "pro forma" competitor for a season.

Williams' legal challenge against Ted Cruz's New Jersey ballot eligibility captured national media attention.  The pro forma campaign served to alert voters across the nation regarding broader concerns about Ted Cruz and to champion the case for Mr. Trump being the far superior Republican candidate.

After Donald Trump secured the delegates needed for the GOP nomination, Professor Williams ended his pro forma campaign, formally endorsed Mr. Trump, and launched a new separate effort to support nominee Trump in the general election -- "Lawyers and Law Professors for Trump."

The group, legally organized as a Super PAC, independently supported nominee Trump by publishing  op-eds and in other public relations efforts.

Now this group is being transformed into the "America First Lawyers Association" to support President Trump and the "America First" movement.  The first projects are  to advocate for the immediate Senate confirmation of President Trump's many nominees and to defend the Trump Travel Restriction for Terrorists.

launched Lawyers for Trump Super PAC, issued a

Press Release that praised Donald Trump's selection of

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to be his Vice-Presidential

"By choosing Mike Pence to be his running mate,

Donald J. Trump has shown stellar judgment. The

Trump/Pence team will indeed 'Make America Great

Again.' Governor Pence has had a career commitment to

free markets, regulatory reform, and pro-growth

economic policies. Working with Congress, the

Trump/Pence Administration will unleash the dynamic

potential of the American economy."

Williams added:

"And Donald Trump has again demonstrated his

commitment to 'Make America Safe Again.' Governor

Mike Pence is a no-nonsense advocate of law and order

for all American communities. Mike Pence knows that

the first priority of government is to keep all of its

citizens safe. And Pence, like Trump, knows that ISIS

must be obliterated, and radical Islam must be called-out

by name and destroyed."
